QuickArrow Names Professional Services Veteran Paul Scott CTO
Austin, TX - October 10, 2000...QuickArrow, Inc. today announced that professional services industry veteran Paul Scott has joined the company as Chief Technical Officer (CTO). Mr. Scott brings to QuickArrow over 15 years of senior technology management experience in professional services organizations (PSOs). His expertise includes application architecture, database design, development methodologies, and system performance tuning.
Mr. Scott comes to QuickArrow from e-business consultant Stonebridge Technologies, where he was Area Consulting Manager with profit and loss responsibilities. Scott served Stonebridge as lead analyst and technical architect over a broad range of projects.
In 1993 Mr. Scott leveraged his growing expertise as a technical architect and leader to co-found Breckenridge Software, a regional consulting organization. The company's rapid growth and innovative project philosophy soon attracted the attention of Stonebridge Technologies, and in 1996 the companies merged. Mr. Scott gained his early experience as Senior Principal Consultant in Oracle's Professional Services Organization, where he led delivery teams implementing mission critical applications.

QuickArrow's fourth-generation Professional Services Automation (PSA) application -Enterprise Consulting Suite (ECS) v4.0-empowers systems integrators, software consultants, application developers and other professional services organizations with a new standard in practice management technology. ECS v4.0 standardizes common business processes, streamlines operations, slashes expenses and boosts billable hours for a bottom-line impact that can exceed 40-percent-all via the Web.
ECS is a Web-native (architected specifically for use over the Web) software solution deployed through the fast-emerging Application Service Provider (ASP) delivery model. In this model, the ECS application is accessed via the Web through a common browser. System subscribers pay for the service on a per seat, per month basis priced about the same as monthly cell phone use.
QuickArrow co-founder and acting CTO Abdul Yoosufani assumes the role of visionary technologist and will study how emerging technologies relate to ECS and the PSA space. Yoosufani will continue to advise and assist the engineering team on product development efforts.
