QuickArrow ECS 4.1 Eases Practice Management For Global Professional Services Organizations
New Version Delivers Enhancements to Simplify, Streamline Customers' Operations
AUSTIN, TX. - January 30, 2001...QuickArrow, Inc. announced today the latest release of its Enterprise Consulting Suite (ECS) software, giving professional services organizations leading-edge capabilities for automating and streamlining their practice management processes.
ECS v4.1 helps users increase productivity through an array of flexible, easy-to-use enhancements. The new version's project cloning feature enables professional services firms to replicate best practices among offices by quickly creating project templates that can be cloned for use with other projects. The capability speeds the creation of new projects while providing consistency. A user can replicate the entire template, or quickly customize a new one by specifying portions of the template to be cloned. In the demanding services marketplace, delivering similar projects in a productive, predictable manner increases client satisfaction and project profitability.
The launch also adds sophisticated multi-currency capability not available in any other product on the market. The new capability enables users to easily produce billing and project reports in the company base currency, their department's base currency, or the currency for the country in which the project is located.
An automated feed provides currency exchange rates — generated on the current date or any other specified date — for any supported currencies. An automated currency translation enables users to view screens and reports in the currency of their choice. The new functionality gives professional services firms doing business internationally a way to easily and quickly keep track of billings, revenue and other accounting, regardless of the currency in use at each location.
QuickArrow's latest version also helps customers better manage their employees and projects through a department hierarchy feature. Users can access and manage their information more efficiently through changes in the user interface. The new version also delivers expanded reporting capability for forecasting revenue for completed projects, and analysis of expenses, time, and billing adjustments.
