QuickArrow releases Enterprise Consulting Suite version 4.5
Becomes first professional services automation vendor to offer customers a customizable reporting engine
Austin, TX. - July 24, 2001...QuickArrow, Inc. announced today that it has released version 4.5 of its popular Web-native, professional services automation software application, Enterprise Consulting Suite (ECS). ECS 4.5 features a dramatically enhanced reporting engine that enables ECS users to gain additional insight into their business via customizable business reports, new revenue recognition functionality, utilization monitoring enhancements, as well as numerous overall feature/functionality enhancements.
With this release, QuickArrow becomes the first professional service automation vendor to provide customers a customizable reporting engine. Previous versions of ECS included over one hundred pre-built reports that were critical to managing a services organization. ECS version 4.5 adds the capability to customize ECS' existing reports and generate entirely new reports. Reports can be modified by adding, moving, and/or removing columns, as well as creating subtotals within the report.
Customers can also create entirely new reports that meet their individual needs through access to 200 percent more data than before. Building on ECS' role-based infrastructure, users can now draw information from any set of business data that their role(s) in the application entitles them to access. Once developed, report structures can be added to a "favorites" page, making report regeneration fast and convenient.

QuickArrow customers who have worked with the new reporting engine while ECS 4.5 was in preview foresee the application having a very positive impact on their business planning activities. Once I have configured a report that I plan to use frequently I can add it to my 'favorites' page, or make it accessible by other individuals or business teams within our organization that it affects. ECS 4.5 also enhances QuickArrow customers' utilization monitoring capabilities. ECS 4.5 features a flexible utilization monitoring configuration tool that gives customers the ability to create individual and department utilization objectives. ECS users can now modify workweek, holiday and hour-per-day definitions through the system. This functionality improves the accuracy of utilization monitoring reports at both the company and department level and gives businesses a tool they can use to more accurately forecast future utilization levels and revenue.
Robert Choi, director of client services at RealFoundations envisions ECS 4.5 playing a critical role in their utilization monitoring activities. ECS 4.5 also provides QuickArrow customers enhanced revenue recognition functionality which separates revenue and billing activities and empowers customers to choose when to recognize new revenue, as well as how much to recognize. With this functionality, ECS users will be able to more accurately account for revenue events.
