QuickArrow Announces Latest Version of Enterprise Consulting Suite–Streamlines Operations for Billable Services Organizations
Features Bring New Efficiencies to Services Consultants and Management
Austin, TX. - June 17, 2003...QuickArrow,
Inc., a leading provider of automation and management software for billable
professional service organizations, today announced the latest version of its
Enterprise Consulting Suite (ECS). This new
release adds American Express integration, enhanced Microsoft Project
bi-directional integration, and advanced invoicing. With these new features, QuickArrow’s software will enable
consultants to devote more time to billable tasks rather than administrative
chores, while also providing improved visibility for management.
To
help further automate time and expense processes, QuickArrow has added American
Express integration, auto-populate and template capabilities. With American Express functionality, ECS enables consultants to download
expenses from online American Express statements and automatically populate
their expense cards. This provides consultants and management with immediate access to all billable expenses,
thereby reducing lost billable expenses and fast turn around on billings to
clients.
“QuickArrow’s integration with American Express makes this highly administrative and
non-billable chore much easier on our people and on management,” said Robert Choi, director for RealFoundations.
“Simplifying the process ensures that we capture all of our billable expenses and helps us collect payments from our
clients more quickly.”
In addition, QuickArrow is introducing major enhancements to its bi-directional
Microsoft Project integration. With this integration, consultants can automatically upload and download critical
data for day-to-day operations such as hours remaining, actual hours worked and
percent complete from ECS into Microsoft Project. In addition, they can staff resources from Microsoft Project by
automatically creating project tasks. This combination of functionality allows professional service
organizations to increase overall business productivity and improve day-to-day
operations.
"As a veteran user of ECS, I was particularly
pleased to see the two way integration with Microsoft Project software. We find
that while MS Project is a great tool for planning and budgeting major
projects, using it in concert with ECS gives us a comprehensive set of
efficiency tools to help us tighten our operation and improve
profitability," said J. Timothy O’Rourke, president and CEO of Matthews,
Young & Associates, a North Carolina-based management consulting company.
"By using the new integration, not only are we benefiting from saving time
setting up new projects in ECS, but we are also providing consultants with ECS
Tasks that match the MS Project Plan we give them. The results are cleaner time
reporting, easier time review and approval, and better overall management of
the projects, which helps us maintain better client relationships.”
QuickArrow
is also offering its customers additional value through new invoicing
functionality. Created to meet the specialized needs of billable, professional service organizations, QuickArrow’s
invoicing module can group transactions based on their client's invoicing
preferences, apply appropriate taxes, print and email invoices, or integrate
billing data with all common ERP and financial systems. Additionally, service organizations can
adjust draft invoices and credit memos created after an invoice is posted. By using the invoicing functionality of ECS,
professional service organizations can greatly improve cash flow and reduce
collection time for receivables.
